This is an exciting time to be joining LAMDA, as we are in the process of applying for our own  Degree Awarding Powers, having recently expanded our West London campus to include two new theatres and new teaching, rehearsal and technical facilities.

This exciting opportunity would suit a confident, enthusiastic and resilient individual who has a commitment to vocational training in the arts. Reporting into the Head of Academic Services & Development, you will be responsible for developing, managing and running a coordinated access and widening participation programme in order to widen LAMDA’s student recruitment base, embed the Academy in its local community and disseminate awareness of LAMDA’s work, particularly amongst non-traditional and hard-to-reach groups.

You’ll have worked in a similar role and will be comfortable engaging with young people and students from diverse backgrounds. Your outstanding communication skills will enable you to work seamlessly with colleagues and senior management throughout the organisation. Your brief will be challenging however, you’ll thrive on seeing projects through to completion with minimal supervision. Team working, managing budgets, knowledge of digital media and social networking are features that you’ll be expected to demonstrate, together with a determined and empathetic attitude.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Additionally, you will be discreet, flexible and resilient.

This is an exciting time to be joining LAMDA, as we are in the process of applying for our own  degree awarding powers, having recently expanded our West London campus and under the new leadership of acclaimed theatre director Sarah Frankcom.

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Student Engagement & Quality Manager to be responsible for ensuring and enhancing the quality of LAMDA’s teaching, learning and assessment.  Working closely with the Head of Student and Academic Services and with LAMDA’s exceptional staff and students, they will prepare and manage all academic quality reviews and audits of LAMDA’s provision.

The successful candidate will be student-focused, with considerable experience of the Higher Education sector and possess hands-on experience of academic quality assurance, enhancement and compliance matters gained in UK HE.  Further, they will have proven experience of student engagement initiatives, course validation and staff development.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills. Additionally, you will be discreet, flexible and resilient.

We are currently recruiting Examiners based in the UK to examine our suite of communication, performance, musical theatre and Shakespeare examinations.

You must hold a recognised teaching qualification or equivalent, and/or a Master’s Degree in a performance related subject. You must also have a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching the LAMDA syllabi. We are also looking for candidates with five years teaching experience in Communication/Speech/English Language and Drama subjects.

LAMDA Examinations recruit Examiners up to three times per academic year (August-July). If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview at LAMDA. Following a successful interview, you will be invited to attend a training day in London; dates and times of this will be confirmed when you are invited to interview.
