Your wellbeing

Feeling good and supported is about more than getting the logistics right.

When you come to study with us, we want to ensure you feel your best so that you can reach your full potential. We understand that sometimes when you’re faced with new situations and the pressures of student life, it can become overwhelming. At LAMDA you’ll have access to a range of networks and people who are there to help you make the most of your time with us.

Our Admissions Team are on-hand to answer queries and provide any help you may need to settle in - from finding a place to live, to help with finances and what life in London is like. They are there to help your transition into student life run smoothly.

The team is also readily available to help with any medical assistance you may need. Make sure you also take a look at our Healthcare section for advice on registering with a local doctors’ surgery.

You’ll have access to Big White Wall, a free counselling service so you will always have someone to talk to. Whatever it is you need to discuss, you can feel safe that you have someone there to offer confidential help.

LAMDA Student Union

The lively Students’ Union meets once a month to discuss everything to do with student life. This is a great place to raise any concerns you may have or to join in the conversation on how we can improve our academy for you.

Big White Wall

You’ll also have free online support with our digital health and wellbeing platform - Big White Wall. Here you’ll be able to get things off your chest, express yourself creatively, and access a library of self-care resources, including clinical tests, tips and guided group courses with topics ranging from managing stress and anxiety and advice on how to quit smoking.

Trained counsellors are online 24/7 for you to reach out to if you need extra support. Big White Wall will also help you with adopting useful coping strategies and behaviours to help with your studies and training.
