Your wellbeing

Feeling good and supported is about more than getting the logistics right.

When you come to study with us, we want to ensure you feel your best so that you can reach your full potential. We understand that sometimes when you’re faced with new situations and the pressures of student life, it can become overwhelming. At LAMDA you’ll have access to a range of networks and people who are there to help you make the most of your time with us.

Admissions Team

Our Admissions Team are on-hand to answer queries and provide any help you may need to settle in – from finding a place to live, to help with finances and what life in London is like. They are there to help your transition into student life run smoothly.

The team is also readily available to help with any medical assistance you may need. Make sure you also take a look at our Healthcare section for advice on registering with a local doctors’ surgery.

Student Wellbeing

At LAMDA we have a dedicated Wellbeing department, offering a safe and non-judgmental space throughout the year to speak about your mental health or wellbeing. The Student Wellbeing Manager can help you to process anything difficult you might be experiencing, and help you to access further support (such as counselling) if needed.

Along with our lively Students’ Union, we have a Student Staff Liaison Committee (SSLC) which meets four times a year, attended by key members of staff. This is a great place to raise any concerns you may have or to join in the conversation on how we can improve our academy for you. We also have a Student Advisor, Clio Davies, who is available to act on any concerns you may need to raise.

Togetherall

You’ll also have free online support with our digital health and wellbeing platform - Togetherall. Here you’ll be able to get things off your chest, express yourself creatively, and access a library of self-care resources. This includes tips and guided courses with topics ranging from managing stress and anxiety, to advice on how to quit smoking, to processing grief and much more. Togetherall can also help you with adopting useful coping strategies and behaviours to help with your studies and training.
