Corporate partners

Here at LAMDA, collaboration is in our DNA. That’s why we work hard to build unique and long-lasting relationships with a range of corporate partners.

Our partnerships not only support our students and the work we do, but also open doors to exciting opportunities for both parties to get involved in.

Whether you're looking for a creative partnership, marketing opportunities, client entertaining, sourcing performers for events or if you simply want to engage with us, there are many bespoke ways your company can get involved.

Our partnership with Audible

Our creative partnership with Audible UK provides £150,000 worth of funding over three years, furthering our mission to deliver innovative performing arts training. In addition, every year, an Audible-funded scholarship will cover all tuition fees for a student on our BA (Hons) Professional Acting course.

Over the past five years there has been a surge in demand for audiobooks. The collaboration with Audible has enhanced our students’ audio skills so they are fully prepared for the wealth of opportunities a career within this growing sector can offer. Our students get involved with the partnership in a variety of ways, including open day training sessions at Audible’s state-of-the-art studios, specialist workshops on microphone technique, assistance in creating voice reels, and career advice from top industry professionals.

Ell Potter, a 2019 MFA Professional Acting graduate, was chosen earlier this year to record her first professional audiobook for Audible during her final year of training. Winter Dark was released on 21 March and is already a bestseller and named as Audible’s 'Thriller of the Year'.

We have also worked with Audible to create new audio dramas which are especially written for young people and have developed four new radio plays from writers Rebecca Boey, Eno Mfon, Joe White and Ross Willis.

Numerous LAMDA alumni have narrated classic and original stories including Nikki Amuka-Bird, Richard Armitage, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeremy Irvine, Rory Kinnear, Rose Leslie, Paterson Joseph, Katherine Parkinson, Toby Stephens, David Suchet and Harriet Walter.
