About the performances

Me and Stevie G
Written and performed by Harry McMullen

Living in Liverpool is hard. Leaving is harder.

Henry Young can't stop getting things wrong. He tries and tries to be like his hero Steven Gerrard, but now he's all grown up, he has to ask - is Stevie a legend, or a cautionary tale?

A new one man play which explores what happens to the famous Scouse sense of humour when things just aren't funny anymore.

This performance contains some strong language and adult themes.

Written and perfomed by Helen Reuben

A one woman show about identity, obsession and salvation

Rachael is self-employed (un-employed), in her late twenties, directionless and absolutely fine thanks until her estranged Grandmother dies and leaves her a huge wad of cash. What follows is a bizarre series of events including a breakdown, an ill-advised spiritual journey, an even more ill-advised relationship and an epic discovery.

Helen Reuben's pitch-black comedy odyssey is a darkly comic cry for help of biblical proportions.

This performance contains adult themes.

Imposter Productions
Her P’s
Performed by Leonie Hill, Jessica Munna and Meena Rayann

A performance exploring the female experience of Permission, Perfection, Power and Paralysis.

Three different women explore the barriers that prevent them from taking their power and investigate just who or what is responsible. Is it the patriarchy? Is it other women continually judging and criticising other women?  Or does the problem lie within, why do we allow ourselves to be suffocated and paralysed by our own perfectionism and need for validation? What is going on and how do we overcome it.

This performance contains some nudity.

Produced by Emeline Touzet
