At LAMDA’s Undergraduate Open Day on Saturday 11 November, Vik Sivalingam, course leader for the BA (Hons) in Professional Acting, talked to prospective students about training as an actor in a drama school setting. During his presentation, he touched upon the practical training that students will receive, what makes LAMDA the top drama school in the UK, and why collaboration is at the heart of everything we do.
Course leader Heather Nimmo also introduced the newly reimagined Foundation in Stage and Screen (CertHE) and LAMDA’s range of short courses, where students have the chance to immerse themselves in acting and other creative pursuits, from directing and writing, to the theatre arts and the growing importance of virtual production.
