Latest releases

  • Iwan Rheon stars in Men Up, now available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
  • Tina Tieno’s writing was recently featured in Theatre503’s Rapid Write Response scratch night for A Woman Walks Into A Bank, which played on 10 and 11 December.
  • Fool Me Once is now streaming on Netflix, starring Richard Armitage.
  • Julie Hesmondhalgh, Amit Shah, Esh Alladi and Matilda Bailes feature in ITV’s Mr Bates vs the Post Office.
  • George Rainsford joins the cast of 2:22 A Ghost Story on its UK tour from 5 January 2024.
  • Rock'n'Roll, featuring Sound Design by Tingying Dong, is showing at Hampstead Theatre until 27 January.
  • The Homecoming continues at the Young Vic until 27 January, starring Robert Emms.
  • Philip Ridley's Leaves of Glass begins at the Park Theatre on 16 January, starring Ned Costello and directed by Max Harrison.
  • Lee Braithwaite is narrating the audiobook of The House of Broken Bricks, which is set to be released on 24 January.
  • Alyx Nazir stars in Murder Ballads: How to Make it in Rock n Roll, which premieres at the Black Sunday Film Festival on 28 January.
  • Janine Harouni is taking solo stand-up show Man’oushe on tour from January. You can also listen to Janine’s recent interview on BBC Radio 4’s Loose Ends.
  • David Suchet’s Poirot and More, A Retrospective embarks on its UK tour this month, beginning in Cheltenham.

Things to look forward to 

  • Tingying Dong will be the Sound Design on Dear Octopus, which opens at the National Theatre from 7 February. Júlia Levai will be the Staff Director.
  • Tingying Dong is also providing Sound Design for My Son's a Queer (But what can you do?) from 27 February at the Lyceum Theatre, Broadway.
  • Rebecca Frecknall’s Cabaret opens on Broadway from April 2024.
  • Laurie Davidson and Angus Imrie are set to star in The Road Trip for Paramount+.
  • Filming has begun for the BBC’s adaptation of Wolf Hall: The Mirror and the Light, which will star Harriet Walter and Harry Melling.

Latest news 

  • Congratulations to Brian Cox (Best Performance in a Television Series – Drama), and David Oyelowo and Sam Claflin (Best Performance in a Limited Series, Anthology Series, or Motion Picture Made for Television), who have received nominations at the Golden Globe Awards 2024.
